Ray L. "Bubber" Brown, 86, of 1725 Whites Memorial Rd., Franklinville, died Friday, April 29, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Monday, May 2, 2016, at Whites Memorial Baptist Church, Franklinville.

Officiating, Rev. Jeff Joyce.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ray was a native of Randolph County, a retired truck driver and attended Whites Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Colvin C. and Ethel Laughlin Brown, sister, Betty Bowders, and his brother, Jimmy Brown.

Survivors: wife, Crayteen Allred Brown, of the home, son, Ronnie Brown, and wife, Mary C., of Greensboro, brothers, Irvin Brown, and wife, Martha, of Asheboro, J. B. Brown, and wife, Eldred, of Franklinville, Allen Brown, of Randleman, grandchildren, Gene Levy, John Levy.

The family expresses a special thanks to Hospice of Randolph County and also the caregivers of Home Instead.
