Owner-Funeral Service Director
Born and raised in Bennett, NC, Richard began his work in carpentry and cabinet building, and joined our team part-time in 1980. After deciding to pursue the funeral industry full-time, he began his education at Fayetteville Technical Institute and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in 1983. In June of 1984 he received his NC Funeral Service License and became co-owner in 1990, and has been providing excellent service to our community ever since. Richard and his wife Wanda reside in Ramseur and are members of Beulah Baptist Church in Bennett. When away from the funeral home, Richard enjoys hunting, golfing, and spending time at the beach.

Bill graduated from Wingate College in 1971 and in 1978 opened his own furniture store here in town, “Ram Furniture” and furnished many families homes until 1988. In the later months of that year, Bill began working for his father, Mr. Russell Craven, one of the previous owners of Loflin Funeral Home, and received his NC Funeral Directors License, becoming a second generation funeral director. In 1990, Bill became co-owner after purchasing the funeral home from his father and his business partner. Bill and his wife Jackie reside in Ramseur, are members of Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church, and have two children and eight grandchildren. When not at work, Bill enjoys playing golf and finding neat places to eat.

After dedicating twenty nine years to Dixie Furniture in both Asheboro and Lexington, NC, Randy entered into the funeral industry in 2003. At that time Randy began his education at Fayetteville Technical Community College, receiving the Governor’s Award in Workforce Development and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in 2007. He became a valued member of our team the same year and achieved his NC Funeral Service License in 2008. Randy and his wife Anna have three children, five grandchildren, are members of Crestview Wesleyan Church and attend Sawyersville Wesleyan Church in Asheboro. When away from the funeral home, Randy enjoys spending time with family and watching sports.
Funeral Director
After graduating from Lenoir Rhyne College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Education, Neill, affectionately known as “Coach Kivett”, had a thirty year career teaching and coaching at Eastern Randolph High School and retired in 2016. In his later years of teaching, Neill joined our team part time in 2014 and began furthering his education in funeral service at Fayetteville Technical Community College shortly after retirement. He graduated in 2018 and received his NC Funeral Directors License in 2020 and has been providing comfort to the families we serve ever since. Neill and his wife, Elisha, are members of Parks Crossroads Christian Church in Ramseur. When not working, Neill enjoys spending time with his son, Dallas, his family, and working outdoors.

Nolan is a 2015 graduate of Faith Christian High School in Ramseur and joined our team in 2018. After graduating from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2020, Nolan went on to receive his NC Funeral Service License in July of 2021. He takes pride in providing peace and comfort to families and helping them navigate through the most difficult time of their lives. As a true “people person” with a heart for his community, Nolan loves any opportunity to give back, including serving in various Civic Organizations across Randolph County. Aside from his time at work, Nolan attends Sunset Avenue Church of God in Asheboro, enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing piano.

Mary retired from Ramtex in 2008 with forty years in the administrative office and joined our team in June of 2010. She is often times the first face or voice to be seen or heard as families enter through our doors. Her sweet spirit and compassionate heart add true value to our team and the service we provide. Mary is a lifelong member of Ramseur Wesleyan Church in Ramseur and has been the church organist for fifty eight years. In her time away from work, she can be found playing the piano and organ, spending time with her family and grandchildren, working in her yard or simply enjoying the outdoors.
