Oliver Clifton "Clif" Baker, Jr., 78, of 1819 N. Fayetteville St., Apt. 10D, Asheboro, died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro.

Memorial Services, 3 PM, Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Officiating, Pastor Steve Bietz.

He was a native of Durham County, retired from Lodging By Charter in Liberty, and a member of the Staley Seventh Day Adventist Group. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Clifton and Kathrine Overton Baker.

Survivors: ex-wife, Mary Holder, daughter, Temple Starling, and husband, Jerry, of Seagrove, son, Anthony Baker, and wife, Melanie, of Liberty, grandchildren, Shelby Baker, Terri Baker, Amanda Cagle, Dusty Starling, and Cierra Starling, great-grandchildren, Timmothy Starling, and Chloe Vazquez.

Visitation, 7 PM to 9 PM, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and after the service at the home of Anthony Baker, 119 W. Patterson Ave. Liberty.
