Franklin Ray McMasters, 84, of Climax, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at his residence.

Funeral Services, 12:00 PM, Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Tim Pheagin, Rev. Jim Simonds.

Burial, Fairview Cemetery, Liberty.

He was a native of Randolph County and a member of Whites Chapel United Methodist Church.  Franklin retired from Millers Furniture and after retirement he worked with Randolph County Landfill. He was preceded in death by parents, Banks T. and Ruth Amick McMasters

Survivors: wife, of 66 years, Lois York McMasters, of the home, daughter, Sheryl Patton, and husband, David, of Reidsville, son, Gary McMasters, and wife, Sandy, of Liberty, grandchildren, Brandon McMasters, and wife, Megan, of Liberty, Elizabeth Harvell, and husband, Kelly, of Cedar Falls, Landon, Chase, and Sara Caroline Haley, of Reidsville, great-grandchildren, Nicholas McMasters, and Cody Harvell, and an expected great-grandson in April.

Visitation, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Thursday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
