Whitney was a native of Randolph County, formerly employed by Avery Dennison of Greensboro. She was a devoted wife, and loving mother. Her world revolved around her family. She enjoyed playing tennis and spending time with her best friend. Whitney was a fighter to the end.
Survivors: husband, Nicholas Dean Latham, of the home, daughter, Nevaeh Elisabeth Latham, of the home, parents, Ricky and Penny Ellis, of Ramseur, brothers, Richard Ellis, and wife, Julia, of Ramseur, Christopher Ellis, and wife, Angel, of Asheboro, grandmothers, Mary Ann George, of Ramseur, Mary Wilson, of Broadway, grandfather, Burnice Ellise, of Bynum, step daughters, Nya Lynn Latham, of Asheboro, Natalie Shae Latham, of Asheboro, two neices, two nephews, and lifetime friend, Carol Bolick.
