Bob, was THE HARDWARE MAN! He taught me about the hardware service, sales. He helped me and many others in our industry and our personal lives. A true and gentle man. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. God needed a hardware man in his massive store in the sky. Thanks again for all you did for me!

I waited on Mr. Beane several times thru the years. Always a real nice man. Waited on his brother June more times than I can count. Both of them were fine fellows.

Cathy & family, We are so sorry for your loss. My Mother. Joyce Fox Williams was Bob's first cousin & I have many fond memories of Bob & having wonderful meals at Aunt Fannie's years ago. Bob was always so friendly & pleasant to be around. May your precious memories be a comfort to you always.

I am so very blessed to have had this wonderful man in my life. He was so special to my Dad and I am so grateful that I was able to develop a close relationship with Bobby and his family even though we were always miles apart. He was so very kind and I loved to hear stories about the time he and my Dad spent together as boys. I will miss him.

My thoughts & prayers are with the entire family. Bob & I worked together at Odell Hardware. There wasn't anyone who knew hardware better than Bob. He always had a smile & was highly respected by his customers. He is in a wonderful place know.

So sorry to hear of our loss. Bobby Bean was always one of my favorite North Carolina relatives. I am so glad I was able to spend tome with him during my last visit. He lived a good life and will dearly be missed. Condolences to Kathy and the rest of the family. I wish I could be there with you all. I can only be there tomorrow with you in spirit, but hope to visit next year. Thank you to Marcella for helping Bobby in this last year with us. Lv you all.

Cathy: I cannot begin to express the Friendship that I developed with Bob during the time we both worked at Odell Hardware, and the Inspiration he gave to me as well as lots of other co-workers. He was a true gentleman and most of all a Real Friend to everyone he met. I am so glad that some of his friends and coworkers got to have lunch with him at David's in Asheboro a few weeks back and we will forever remember his Love and Warm, Jovial friendship. Bobby was a friend of mine in early childhood when we went to Shiloh. We lived about a mile apart. I am sorry to hear of his death and that you have to endure the grieving.
