Bobby Joe "Bob" Brown, 62, of 4099 Riverside Rd., Ramseur, died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral Services, 3 PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Maple Springs United Methodist Church, Coleridge.

Officiating, Rev. Bob Dowling, Rev. Ed Carter.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Bob was a native of Randolph County, a woodworker and carpenter, and a member of Maple Springs United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Campbell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a master's degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was preceded in death by parents, Joe M. and Ruth Snow Brown.

Survivors: wife, Marie Brady Brown, of the home, son, Ronnie Lee Brown, and wife, Donna, of Coleridge, brothers,  Michael Lee Brown and wife, Kathy, of Greensboro, Jerry Monroe Brown, of Ramseur, Clifford Mark Brown, and wife, Pam of Coleridge, grandchildren, Nathan Austin Brown, Davin Lee Brown, Levi Monroe Brown, and also survived by special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the residence.
