Yvonne Held Kearns

Yvonne Held Kearns, 69, of Asheboro, died Monday, March 15, 2021 at her residence.

Yvonne was a native of Devils Lakes, North Dakota and formerly employed as a social worker for the Federal Government. She was all about her family and loved them dearly. Yvonne enjoyed traveling, visiting many Asian country's and the States. She was a U.S. Army Veteran and after her husband Joe retired from the military they returned to live in Seoul, South Korea. Joe and Yvonne were married on October 16, 1974 and he passed away on February 11, 2003. Yvonne loved to read and work in the garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Kearns and parents, Frederick and Margaret Birnie Held, step-son, Jeff Kearns and brother, Daron Held.

Survivors: daughters, Jodi Wright and husband, Buddy, of Asheboro, Jacquelyn Triplett and husband, George, of Archdale, sister, Kristi Berg and husband, Arne, of Devils Lake, North Dakota, brother, Don Held and wife, Kate, of Everett, Washington, John Held, of Concord, California, grandchildren, James, Stephanie, Megan, Amy, Taylor, Jessie, and her great-grandchildren.
