William R. D. Williams, 84, of Saint Pauls, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Lumberton Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton.
Funeral Services, 3 PM, Friday, March 11, 2022, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel.
Officiating, Rev. Tony Pope.
Burial, Whites Chapel Community Church, Liberty with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
R. D. was born on January 4, 1938 in Randolph County, a retired farmer and a member of the Staley Baptist Church. He loved hunting, history and westerns and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. R. D. was preceded in death by his parents, William Cecil and Mary Lessie York, brother, William Cecil Williams, Jr., sister, Patty Williams Luther, and husband, Leo Edward Luther.
Survivors: wife, Carol Pope Williams, of the home, sons, David Musselwhite, Wesley Musselwhite, and wife, Melynda, Rodney Musselwhite, and wife, Carmen, all of Saint Pauls, seven grandchildren.
