William Lee "Bill" Smith

William Lee "Bill" Smith, 83, of Raleigh, transitioned to his heavenly home on Friday, October 27, 2023.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 PM, on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Maple Springs Community Church Cemetery in Coleridge.

Officiating, Pastor Mick Bowen.

Bill was born and raised in Liberty, NC and was a longtime resident of Coleridge. He retired from Ramseur Interlock and was a member of Maple Springs Community Church in Coleridge. Bill never met a stranger and enjoyed traveling and spending time at Ocean Isle Beach. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Brown Smith, parents, Arthur and Mary Kivett Smith, sister, Josephine S. Coleman and son-in-law, Stephen Pair.

Survivors: daughters, Tammy S. Pair, of Raleigh, Tina S. Sawyer, and husband, Kenny, of Raleigh, son, Timothy Smith, of Raleigh, grandchildren, Hunter Pair, and wife, Hailey, of Raleigh, Bryce Sawyer, of Raleigh, great-grandchild, Charlotte Pair, of Raleigh.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
