William Curtis Kearns, 81, of Seagrove, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at his residence.

Graveside Memorial Services, 2:00 PM, Friday, September 3, 2021, at Lineberry United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2489 Handy Rd., Denton, NC 27239.

Officiating, Rev. Howard Moffitt.

Curtis was a native of Randolph County. He spent his career as a foreman for Pinnacle Masonry and as a farmer. Curtis attended Woodfern Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and working in his garden, growing vegetables which he loved sharing with his neighbors. Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Moffitt Kearns, his first wife, Kathryn Surratt Kearns, daughter, Leticia Lynn Kearns, sons, Andree Curtis Kearns, Nelvin Dirk Kearns, and parents, William Blake and Oleta Shaw Kearns, brother-in-law, Norman Kivett.

Survivors: stepdaughter, Kim Smith, of Asheboro, son, Brad Kearns, of Seagrove, sisters, Joyce Kivett, of Asheboro, Pat McBride, and husband, Lester, of Florida, Carol Watson, and husband, Tommy, of Badin Lake, Brenda Monroe, and husband, Charles, of Trinity, grandchildren, Jacob and Mackenzie Smith, numerous nieces and nephews.
