Obituary
Wayland Dean "Booty" Brown, 79, of Ramseur, died Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
No services will be held.
Booty was a native of Lee County and a lifelong resident of Randolph County. He was retired co-owner of Brown & Rush Electrical Company and was a veteran of the United States Army. Booty was preceded in death by his parents, Winfred and Johnsie Morgan Brown.
Survivors: wife, Vickie Scott Brown, of the home, step-sons, Andy Pate, and wife, Lisa, of Ararat, Rusty Pate and wife, Lynette, of High Point, Mickey Pate, and wife, Jill, of Asheboro, brother, W. A. Brown, and wife, Rochelle, of Greensboro, six step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
