Walter Grady Moon, 86, of Asheboro, died Friday, July 17, 2020 at Brookdale South Park in Charlotte.

Funeral Services, Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Richland Baptist Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. Thomas Smith.

Grady was a native and longtime resident of Randolph County. He was a devoted husband, and father who enjoyed working on his farm until he retired in 1998. Grady was a member of Richland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cloyce Allen Moon, parents, Walter Lee Moon and Mamie Ethel Beck Moon Cox, brother, Rev. Benjamin Ray Moon.

Survivors: daughter, Vonda Kaye Moon, and husband, Stacy Bryan Lambert, of Asheboro, brothers, Rev. James Theron Moon, and wife, Elizabeth, of Burlington, Harold Lee Moon, and wife, Janice, of Asheboro, Rayeford Cox, and wife, Rachel, of Asheboro, sister-in-law, Carolyn Moon, of Albemarle.
