Walter Glenn McCraw, Sr., 74, of Franklinville, died Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral Services, 11 AM, Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.
Officiating, Rev. John Harmon.
Burial, Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
Walter was a native of Guilford County and a longtime resident of Franklinville. He was a retired construction worker. Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Snow McCraw, his son, Walter Glenn McCraw, Jr., his parents, Walter and Nellie Hanner McCraw, and his brothers, Richard Lee McCraw and Charles F. McCraw.
Survivors: daughters, Mary Gwendolyn McCraw, of Holden Beach, Kimberly Harshman, and husband, Eddie, of Holden Beach, Melissa Eagan, and husband, Alan, of Asheboro, son, Michael John McCraw, and wife, Desiree, of Franklinville, sisters, Emma McCraw, and husband, Frank, of Greensboro Joyce Purdue, and husband, Rocky, of Greensboro, brother, A.J. Sluter Jr., of Pleasant Garden, fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur, and other times at the home of Alan and Melissa Eagan.
