Vaughn Richardson Obituary

Vaughn Hampton Richardson, 90, of Ramseur, died Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Alpine Health & Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro.

Vaughn was a native of Randolph County and a longtime resident of Ramseur. He was a former fixer at Klopman Mills in Asheboro and was the owner operator of Richardson Repair in Ramseur. Vaughn attended Ramseur Wesleyan Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Trudell Richardson, his parents, Carl and Annie Cox Richardson, brothers, Bascom Richardson, Frank Richardson, George Richardson, and Bill Richardson, sisters, Kathleen Coble, and Florence Richardson.

Survivors: daughter, Barbara Saunders, and husband, Gene, of Franklinville, as well as many, many other beloved family members.

Vaughn will lie in state from 2 PM until 4 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
