Vannetta Morris Kimrey, 93, of Ramseur, died Friday, November 6, 2020 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.
Funeral Services, 2PM, Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at First Baptist Church of Ramseur. All family and friends attending the service are reminded that masks are required inside the church and that social distancing should be followed.
Officiating, Rev. Ron Coleman.
Burial, Sunset Knoll Cemetery, Ramseur.
Vannetta was a native of Davidson County and a longtime resident of Ramseur. She was a devoted homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ramseur. Vannetta was preceded in death by her husband, Gary B. Kimrey, her parents, B.V. and Euna Henderson Morris, brothers, Byron Morris, Aaron Morris.
Survivors: daughter, Sara Kimrey Whatley, and husband, Dean, of Asheboro, sons, Sam M. Kimrey, and wife, Louise, of Ramseur, Shane Kimrey, and wife, Amanda, of Siler City, sister, Uzina Morris, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Jennifer McGee, husband, Jimmy, of Cornelius, Angie Allred, husband, Josh, of Asheboro, Kevin Kimrey, and wife, Tiffany, of Franklin, IN, Jessica Kimrey, of Siler City, Kayce Clark, and husband, Richie, Holly Springs, NC, great-grandchildren, Aiden Loggains, Carter McGee, Kayden Kimrey, Kai Kimrey, Vada Kimrey, Fisher Allred.
The body will lie in repose on Monday, November 9th from noon until 5 pm at the Loflin Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
