Tonya Greer Tweedy Allen

Tonya Elizabeth Greer Tweedy Allen, 51, of Ramseur, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 2 PM, Sunday, April 25, 2021, at the home of Brenda Joyce, 4125 NC Hwy 22 S, Ramseur, NC 27316.

Tonya was a native of Guilford County and a resident of Ramseur. She was the co-owner and operator of T&T Storage Buildings in Asheboro. She was a beloved wife to her husband and an exceptional mother to her children. She was a proud Nana who loved her grandbabies and was happiest spending time with them. Tonya was the most caring person you could ever meet, and her heart was so big, she left her mark on all whom she met.

She enjoyed the outdoors and soaking up the sun just about anywhere. The beach was one of her favorite places and just two days before her passing, she was able to make one more trip. While on her last trip to the beach, she had the biggest smile on her face and the sand between her toes, all while watching her grandson play. She was at peace.

Tonya was sick for a long time but still pushed through to enjoy her life to the fullest. She was determined not to let that heart of hers slow her down. Tonya will be missed by so many family and friends.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Greer and Brenda Price Greer, grandsons, Dalton Blake Green, and Justin Cory Taylor, Jr., brother, Brian Keith Greer.

Survivors: husband, Anthony "Tony" Wayne Allen, daughters, Destiny Ward, of Dudley, Jessica White, of High Point, sons, Lance Tweedy, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Austin Tweedy, of Myrtle Beach, SC, grandchildren, Grayson Hill, Landon Tramell, daughter-in-law, Melissa Ward, of Dudley, step-daughter, Abigail Allen, fiance, Nick Tramell, of Rome, GA, step-son, Anthony Allen, of Rome, GA.
