Thomas Henry Lewis, 63, of Shallotte, died Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Graveside Services, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1120 Old Cedar Falls Rd., Asheboro.

Thomas was born in Guilford County, a longtime resident of Shallotte, NC, and spent his career as a manager of Ford Body Company. He was an avid fisherman, loved to joke with everyone, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his entire world. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Weldon Wade Lewis, Jr., and Judith Peoples Lewis, brother, Jayme Lewis, and sisters, Karen Sue Paisi, Carol Cole.

Survivors: wife and caregiver, Barbara Lewis, of Asheboro, daughters, Dana Willard, of Randleman, Melissa Lewis, of Staley, Tammy Stanley, and husband, PJ, of Burlington, brothers, Weldon Wade Lewis, III., of Shallotte, Donnie Ray Lewis, of Rockingham County, grandchildren, Bryson, Ryan and Emily Willard, all of Randleman, Jonathan Scarberry, and wife, Reagan, Victoria Lewis, and Madison Reeder, all of Asheboro, Trey, Colton, and Kaylynn Stanley, all of Burlington, great-grandchildren, Carter L. West, Lucy Scarberry, both of Asheboro.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Barbara Lewis, 147 Farmer Road, Asheboro, NC 27203.
