Terry Dixon Burrell, 74, of Asheboro, died Monday, June 1, 2020 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

Terry was a native of Mecklenburg County and formerly employed as a waitress. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ira Dixon Jr. and Mattie Lee Ratcliff Moore, brother, Tim Moore, grandsons, Kenneth N. Tate, Connor Oates.

Survivors: daughters, Wrenn Robbins, of Ramseur, Teresa Lovelace, and life partner, Rocky Brooks, of Asheboro, Wendy Pettis and husband, Chad, of Anger, son, Douglas Allen Brooks, and wife, Laura, of Lexington, SC., sister, Toni Bass, and husband, Robert Manley, of Climax, brother, Ted Moore, and wife, Sophie, of Charlotte, grandchildren, Aleah Edmonds, and husband Brandon, Brian K. Coeburn II, and wife, Megan, Krissy Henderson, and life partner, Chris, Erin McAbee, and husband, Scott, Blythe Corley, DJ Brooks, Anthony Brooks, and fiance, Hayley, Hunter Brooks, Zack Brooks, and wife to be, Morgan, Billy Agnew, great-grandchildren, Carter Edmonds, Dawson Edmonds, Elsie Edmonds, Logan Oates, Kinsley Oates, Kason Corley, Jamee Brooks, Giovanni Brooks, Luna Brooks, Bentley Lamb, niece, Morgan Blakely, nephews, Timmy Moore, and wife, Kheda, Mitchell Blakely, Wesley Blakely, great nieces and nephew, Emma Cruitt, Sophia and Phillip Moore.

The body will lie in state from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 6 at First Christian Church Life Center, Ramseur.
