Ruth Greene Swift, 95, of 4142 Meredell Farm Rd., Liberty, died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 11 AM, Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Liberty.

Officiating, Pastor Travis Brock, Dr. Carl Garner.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ruth was a native of Watauga County and a long time resident of Liberty. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Willis John Swift, her parents, Dillard and Pearl Tester Greene, and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors: daughters, Bonnie Swift, of Liberty, Connie Heilig, and husband, Tommy, of Liberty, sons, Lee Swift, of the residence, Ray Swift, of Liberty, sisters, Belva McCuiston, of High Point, Lora Hollar, of Boone, brother, Howard Greene, of Greensboro, grandchildren, Mark Heilig, and wife, Amy, of Liberty, Brian Heilig, and wife, Jennifer, of Staley, April Cheek, and husband, Clint, of Seagrove, Tara Swift, of Asheboro, Katina Lowe, of Asheboro, great-grandchildren, Lauryn Heilig, Cadence Heilig, Morgan Heilig, Maggie Heilig, Taylor Hicks, Caitlin Hicks, Kenley Rendelman, Dawson Hill, Malaqui Swift, Kahlil Jones, Brandon Lowe, Trevor Lowe.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
