Ruby Lee (Twiddy) Cardwell

Ruby Twiddy Cardwell, 89, of Ramseur, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Ramseur on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

Private Funeral Services for the family, 2 PM, Monday, May 2, 2022, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro.

Ruby was a native of Suffolk, VA and a long time resident of Ramseur. She was formerly employed in the textile industry. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Cardwell, Sr., her son, Albert Cardwell, Jr., daughters, Brenda Cardwell, and Janice Cardwell, her parents, Ernest and Cora Rhodes Twiddy, and four sisters and three brothers.

Survivors: daughters, Barbara Carper, of Ramseur, Debbie Jordan, and husband, Larry, of Denton, Nancy Cockerham, of Asheboro, and daughter-in-law, Kathy Cardwell, of Harrisburg, ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, "soon to be" twenty.
