Ronnie Douglas Sutton, 76, of Asheboro, left this world and entered his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at High Point Regional Hospital.
Funeral Services, 2 PM, Saturday, at Amity Hills Baptist Church, Asheboro.
Officiating, Rev. Barry Wall, Rev. Garry Reeder.
Ron was a native of Moore county and longtime resident of Randolph County. He retired from TRW in Sevierville, TN and moved back to North Carolina. Ron enjoyed woodworking in his shop where he made little wooden boxes to take to craft shows. He also enjoyed going to NASCAR races and playing pool with his friends and family. Ron was a faithful Christian and was a member of Amity Hills Baptist Church and formerly attended Union Grove Christian Church. He loved studying the Bible and singing in the choir as well as teaching Sunday School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Hubert and Vera Bullington Sutton, son, Doug Sutton, sister, Bobbie Cagle, grandchild, Jody Lowdermilk.
Survivors: wife, Linda Williams Sutton, of the home , daughters, Michelle Lowdermilk, husband, Jerry, of Seagrove, Virginia Denny, of Asheboro, Anna Key, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Cory Lowdermilk, Levi Lowdermilk, Noah Lowdermilk, Isaac Denny, William Denny, Lauren Cashion, Trenton Key, Ethan Key, four great-grandchildren.
Visitation, 1 PM to 2 PM, Saturday, Amity Hills Baptist Church, Asheboro. The family requests that all attendees wear masks and practice social distancing.
