Ronald Allen Conner

Ronald Allen Conner, 52, of Franklinville, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Monday, March 11, 2024, at Pleasant Cross Christian Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. Jeff Maness.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ronald was born in Montgomery County, was a resident of Franklinville, and was a devoted employee of Kennametal for over half of his life. He treasured the simple things in life and his greatest joy was spending time with his family as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Ronald enjoyed going on "joy rides" with his wife, often without any destination in mind, and believed that those trips were "all about the ride, not the destination." He enjoyed baiting a hook in the ocean on annual trips to the beach, hanging out in his shop, and riding his tractor. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Elbert L. Conner, Sr., and his nephew, Rodney Bunting.

Survivors: wife, Betty Jo Conner, daughter, Jessica Deaton and husband, Jacob, mother, Joyce F. Conner, siblings, Elbert L. Conner, Jr. (Susan), Elaine C. Bunting (Joey), Wanda G. Conner, Charlie C. Conner, grandson, Isaac Deaton, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
