Robert Parks Roberts, 91, of Ramseur, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at his residence.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Tim Strider.

Burial, Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, Ramseur with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Robert was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. He was retired from Ramtex and was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Korean War on board the Battleship Iowa. Robert enjoyed woodworking, gardening and had a profound love for his country. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Margaret Presnell Roberts, granddaughter, Krista Roberts, parents, Grover C. and Fannie Bray Roberts and brothers, Billy and Max Roberts.

Survivors: sons, Parks Dwain Roberts, of Ramseur, Mark Alan Roberts, and wife, Sylvia, of Asheboro, Richard Darren Roberts, of Seagrove, Robbie Farrell Roberts, and wife, Laura, of Seagrove, sister, Louise Roberts Burgess, of Ramseur, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
