Perry Franklin Cox, 92, of Asheboro, died Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 2 PM, Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Landmark Baptist Church, Asheboro.
Officiating, Rev. Anthony Agan.
Burial, Mountain of Faith Christian Church, Asheboro with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Perry was a native of Randolph County and a U. S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church. Perry was a retired farmer and worked twelve years with Kayser Roth. He enjoyed hunting with his buddies Jim Chriscoe, Charlie Moon Jr., and Harold Pierce, enjoyed going to church and listening to blue grass music. Perry was preceded in death by his parents, Eben and Laura Gatlin Cox, sisters, Geneva Smith, Beulah Hayes, brothers, D. Worth Cox, Howard Cox, sister, Irma Brown, brother, Gilbert Cox.
Survivors: wife of 52 years, Nancy Edwards Cox, sister, Mildred Brady, of Georgia, sisters-in-law, Blanche Cox, Sarah Cox, both of Seagrove, brothers-in-law, Raeford Brown, of Asheboro, Larry Edwards and wife, Debra, of Apex, as well as several nieces and nephews.
