Peggy Ruth Moran Gray, 83, of Asheboro, died Monday, February 22, 2021 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Friday, February 26, 2021, at Central Falls Baptist Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. Gerald Hussey, Rev. Howard Moffitt.

Entombment, Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.

Peggy was born May 7, 1937 in Randolph County to Edman and Beatrice Bowman Moran. She lived her whole life in Randolph County and was formerly employed with Stedmans and AVS. Peggy was a long time member of Central Falls Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by the love of her life, Charlie Gray, sisters, Patsy M. Spencer, Martha Ann Lambe, brothers, Charles Moran, Carl Moran, Clarence Moran, Roger Moran, Edward Moran, and Larry Moran.

Survivors: sisters, Pauline Isom and husband, J. W., of Asheboro, Genevieve Brown and husband, Greg, of Randleman, brothers, Wayne Moran, Elvis Moran and wife Barbara, both of Asheboro, Johnny Moran, of Randleman, sister-in-laws, Juanita Moran, Ann Moran, Bonnie Ritter, brother-in-laws, Ike Gray, J. W. Gray, several nieces and nephews.

The body will lie in repose on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from noon until 5:00 PM at Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur.
