Odell Cummings Hayes, 93, of Franklinville, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Brian Center of Gastonia.

Funeral Services, 11 AM, Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Mark Beane.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Odell was a native of Guilford County and a longtime resident of Franklinville. He was a member of Antioch Christian Church and a veteran of the United States Army. Odell was a former member of the Randolph County Honor Guard, the Disabled American Veterans, and the National Rifle Association.  Odell was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Henson Hayes, his son, Mark Alan Hayes, and his parents, Lyman and Willie Lanier Hayes.

Survivors: daughter, Terri Hall, and husband, Wendel, of Ramseur, son, Ronnie Dale Hayes, of Franklinville, sister, Janice Short, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Jennifer Keene, Jonathan Millikan, great-grandchildren, Sarah Keene, Joy Keene, Thomas Keene.

Visitation, 10 AM to 11 AM, Saturday, Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, Ramseur.
