Nancy "Gran" Stanley Craven

Nancy "Gran" Stanley Craven, 90, of Ramseur, died Saturday, May 29, 2021 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Ramseur Wesleyan Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Roland Cavanaugh.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Nancy was a native of Chatham County, a longtime resident of Ramseur, and a member of Ramseur Wesleyan Church. She spent her career as an instructor with Asheboro Beauty School and Jordan Matthew's High School.  Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Wrenn Craven, her parents, Jesse and Evie Stanley Light, and brother, John Roy Light.

Survivors: daughter, Rhonda Atkinson and husband, Kent, of Franklinville, Jeanne Cox and husband, Steve, of Ramseur, Susan Cord and husband, John, of Julian, sister, Elner "Bill" Shaw Brown, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Jennifer Dawn Fesmire, Christopher Cox, Kelly Sink, Devon Helms, Brooke Williams, Jenni Avery, John Michael Cord, Jessi Cord, eleven great-grandchildren.

The body will lie in repose from noon until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 1 at Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur.

Visitation, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, Ramseur Wesleyan Church, Ramseur.
