Melanie June Kendall Baker, 55, of Liberty, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

Graveside Services, 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Bethlehem Community Cemetery, 2839 Old Fort Sugar Hill Rd., Old Fort, NC.

Officiating, Pastor Bruce Marlowe.

Melanie was born in El Paso, TX, and raised in New Hanover County, Wilmington, NC. She was a member of Pittsboro Seventh Day Adventist Church, a veteran of the United States Army and employed with Black Rock Crushing.

Survivors: husband, Anthony Baker, of the home, son, Jacob Kendal Cole and wife, Charity, of Ramseur, parents, Graham and Mary Core Kendall, of Old Fort, brother, Daniel Kendall and wife, Debbie, of Anderson, SC, Reid Kendall and wife, Heather, of Old Fort, nephews, Zach, Seth, Hunter Kendall, and numerous cousins.

The body will lie in repose from noon until 5 pm, Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur.
