Mary Ruth Murphy Brower

Mary Ruth Murphy Brower, 91, of Staley, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Pleasant Union Wesleyan Church, Liberty.

Officiating, Rev. Noah Alvarez.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ruth was a native of Yadkin County, longtime resident of Staley, and a member of Pleasant Union Wesleyan Church for more than 50 years. She was a homemaker and dedicated much of her time to the community and helping various families, especially at the Bargain Shop in Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors: husband of seventy two years, Harold Franklin Brower, of the home, daughter, Betty Ruth Brower Milligan, of Staley, son, Richard Harold Brower, and wife, Paulette B., of Ramseur, grandchildren, Angie Brower Cox, and husband, Zach, of Asheboro, Jody Brower, and wife, Kelsey, of  Siler City, Erica Adcock, and husband, Kevin, of Raleigh, great-grandchildren, Brianna and Madison Cox, Harrison Brower.

Visitation, 5 PM to 7 PM, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
