Mary Ellen Allred Nance

Mary Ellen Allred Nance, 88, of Franklinville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

Funeral Services, 3 PM, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Clear View Baptist Church, Franklinville.

Officiating, Brother Chandler Francis, Dr. Bruce Dickerson.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mary was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Franklinville School after many years of faithful service and was a member of Clearview Baptist Church. Mary loved flowers and feeding humming birds and other wildlife near her home. Mary enjoyed reading and playing the piano. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristle Dawn Nance, her parents, Colon and Rosa Cox Allred, and brothers, Jack Allred, and Marvin Allred.

Survivors: husband, Curtis Dean Nance, of the home, son, Todd Nance, and wife Sharon, of Asheboro, brother, Gene Allred, and wife, Louise, of Grays Chapel, grandsons, Jesse Nance, and Jaden Nance.

Visitation, 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM, Tuesday, Clear View Baptist Church, Franklinville and other times at the residence.
