Martha Laughlin Mears, 81, of Franklinville, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at her home.

Funeral Services, 11 AM, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Wayne Bryson.

Burial, Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.

Martha was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. She was a graduate of Grays Chapel High School and was retired from Ramtex with over 40 years of service. Martha was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Randleman. She was a loving, selfless, and kind wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Martha loved to travel, especially to the beach where she enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ruby Routh Laughlin, sister, Lillian Young, son, Allen Keith Mears, daughter, Cheryl Holt.

Survivors: husband, Bobby Allen Mears, of the home, children, Sue Brown, and husband, Tim, of Asheboro, Junior Rutledge, of Asheboro, Mark Mears, and husband,Frank, of Pompano Beach, FL, Shelia M. Moran, and husband, Anthony, of Asheboro, sister, Evonne Hege, of Franklinville, brothers, Robert Laughlin, and wife, Betty, of Asheboro, Allen Laughlin, of Randleman, Malcom Laughlin, and wife, Shelby, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Ashley Luck, Josh Hamilton, Toshia Watson, husband, Kenneth, Jennifer King, husband, Danny, Alex Mears, wife, Peggy, Courtney Holt, (Jacob), Chase Rutledge, wife, Lia, Allen Moran, Laci Moran, great-grandchildren, Bailey Luck, Malorie Cyr, Peyton Mears, Kayson Watson, Madelyn King, Mason King, Caroline Luck, Ava Mears, Taylor Watson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
