Martha Pell Hinesley, 83, of Ramseur, was embraced by loved ones in Heaven on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 2 PM, Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Holly Spring Friends Meeting, Ramseur.
Officiating, Pastors Todd Brown and Andrew Needham.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Martha was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, spent her career in hosiery manufacturing, and in her later years driving a bus for Eastern Randolph High School. She was a 1957 graduate of Coleridge School and won the title of May Day Queen her senior year. Martha was a lifelong member of Holly Spring Friends Meeting, enjoyed going to the beach, traveling, shopping, camping, and most of all watching her grandchildren play sports. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo M. Hinesley, grandson, Justin Hinesley, parents, Reid and Ellie Kivett Pell, sister, Ocho Scott, brothers, Fred Pell, John Pell, and brother-in-law, Cecil Hinesley.
Survivors: daughters, Louise Needham, and husband, Reece, of Seagrove, Melissa Needham, and husband, Joey, of Ramseur, son, Mark Hinesley, and wife, Vickie, of Ramseur, brother, Jim Pell, and wife, Emily, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Mandy Harrelson, and husband, Ryan, Andrew Needham, and wife, Mary, Cody Wright, and Arianne Dixon, Kaz Wright, and wife, Sherry,Tagan Silvers, and John Nguyen, Rebekah Needham, Matthew Needham, great-grandsons, Talen Hinesley, Dallas and Houston Harrelson, Camden, Colten and Colby Wright, Kayden Wright, Leo Nguyen, and arriving soon, Kaysen Wright, sister-in-law, Hilda Pell, brother-in-law, Michael Hinesley and wife, Patty, special former-in-laws, Stephen Wright, Caroline Wright, Michele Timberlake, special daughter, Teresa Teague, special grandchildren, Brian Campos, Marsha Windsor, Ella Windsor, Peter Hutchins, Trent Flinchum, along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service in the family life center, and other times at the home of Joey and Melissa Needham.
