Mark John Hosford

Mark John Hosford, 75, of San Diego, California died Friday, September 11, 2020 at home.

A Celebration of His Life will be 3 PM, Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at High Falls Wesleyan Church with Roger Riffe officiating, with North Carolina National Guard performing military honors.

Mark was a native of Indiana, a longtime resident of San Diego and Asheboro, N.C. since 2011. He worked as an Electronic Design Engineer for telecommunications at Bell Labs and was a Vietnam veteran and helicopter pilot for the wounded. He worked for the Military Defense and various private industries. Mark attended Pacific Beach Presbyterian Church and High Falls Wesleyan Church in N.C. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Hosford; his father, Monroe Hosford and sister Melanie Hosford, mother-in-law, Maggie Phillips.

He is survived by his wife of forty three years, Betty Hosford, his three nephews, three grand nephews and three grand nieces
