Maggie Mozelle Stokes Phillips, 93, of Asheboro, died Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Sandy Ridge Homes in Candor.
A celebration of her life will be held, 3 PM, Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at High Falls Wesleyan Church, High Falls.
Officiating, Rev. Roger Riffe.
Maggie was a native of Randolph County and a longtime resident of Asheboro. She worked at Champagne Dye Works until retirement and she volunteered at Randolph Hospital, the American Red Cross, and Contact "Randolph". Maggie was a member of First United Methodist Church of Asheboro, and attended High Falls Wesleyan Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Joseph C. Phillips, her son, Gary Andrew Phillips, Sr., infant son, William Larry Phillips, parents, Daniel and Flora Mae Brady Stokes, eight sisters, two brothers, and son-in-law, Mark Hosford.
Survivors: daughter, Betty Phillips Hosford, of San Diego, CA, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
