Louise Williams Wright

Louise Williams Wright, 89, of Staley, went to her Heavenly home, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Wesley Pines Nursing Home in Lumberton. She was born January 20, 1932 to the late Clarence Williams and Lula Wright Williams.

Funeral Services will be held, 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Staley, and will be live streamed for others in the parking lot.

Officiating, Rev. Stephen Duncan, Rev. Wayne Dunn.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Louise was a native of Randolph County and a former child care giver in her home to many over a twenty year span, until health reasons required her to give it up. Louise loved babies and children, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a dedicated member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer P. Wright, parents, Clarence and Lula Wright Williams, brothers, Clarence "Poodle" Williams, Paul Ray Williams, Wade Williams, sister, Eula W. Hicks, grandchildren, Chandler Wright, Chloe Wright, and nephew, Terry Williams.

Survivors: daughters, Karen Robinson (Roy), of Siler City, Sharon McMasters (Wesley), of Ramseur, Lisa Griffith (JB), of Liberty, sons, Randall Wright (Anita), of Asheboro, Ronald Wright (Elizabeth), of Lumberton, sisters, Lucy Moore and Eva Brady, both of Asheboro, grandchildren, Steven Wright (Crystal), Brian Wright (Shannon), Jairus Griffith (Liz), Renee Harrelson (Jeremiah), Megan McMasters (Wally), Ryan Robinson, Amber McMasters, Sarah Griffith, Micah Griffith, Jacob McMasters, Isabella Wright and Jadon Griffith, great-grandchildren, Avery and Ansley Wright, Laken, London and Banks Wright, Alexandra, Charlotte and Judah Griffith, Josephine and Luke Harrelson, Kade and Knox Wilson, Zoey Ellis and Adley Robinson, Aubree Brown, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would especially like to thank Kathy Freeman, Kelley Campbell, Linda McLean, Darlene Sheppard, Trudy Brisson, Ashely Eddings, and Rev. Deese from Wesley Pines, who cared for her for the last two and a half years. They would like to also thank Tanya Chavis, Michelle Locklear, and Pastor Steve Johnson of Community Homecare and Hospice of Robeson County for their excellent care of Louise.

The body will lie in repose from noon until 5 PM, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur.

Visitation, 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, Sunday, Shady Grove Baptist Church, Staley.
