Linda Cox Parks

Linda Ann Cox Parks, 77, of Asheboro, died Thursday, February 27, 2020 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 3:30 PM, Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Bethel Friends Meeting, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. Ben Hurley, Mr. Ken McDowell.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Randolph County, retired secretary with Coleridge School, and a member of Bethel Friends Meeting. Linda loved life and it loved her right back. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake and the beach. Cooking was one of her many talents as well as spoiling her grandchildren. She never had a harsh word to say, never complained, and always made everyone around her smile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester, and Mary Ann Humble Cox, daughter, Loretta Lynn Parks, grandson, Heath Parks, sister, Linnie Maie Wright, and brothers, Lloyd Cox, Lantford Cox, Leonard Cox, and Leroy Cox.

Survivors: husband, Jackie Parks, of the home, sons, Darrell Parks, and wife, Jenny, of Asheboro, Dwight Parks, of Asheboro, Derrick Parks, and wife, Kelly, of Asheboro, sister, Lottie Voncannon, and husband, Gene, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Austin Parks, Bailey Parks, Ashlin Parks, Brooke Parks, and Priscilla Parks.

Visitation, 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Sunday, Bethel Friends Meeting, Asheboro, and other times at the residence of Darrell and Jenny Parks.
