Laura Etta (Spencer) Allred

Laura Spencer Allred, 93, of Randleman, died Wednesday, January 6 at her residence.

No services are being held at this time.

Laura was a native of Randolph County and was formerly a self-employed wallpaper hanger alongside her husband. She was a member of Cedar Falls United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, Bible Studies, Youth Fellowship, and was a member of U.M.W. Laura was an avid gardener and she enjoyed fishing and walking. She especially loved her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allred, her son, Kenneth Allred, her parents, Archie and Martha Davis Spencer, brothers, Herman Spencer, Clayton Spencer, sisters, Annie Barker, Esther D'Augustine, and Ruby Henley

Survivors: daughters, Elizabeth Lineberry, and husband, Bo, of Randleman, Wanda McAlister, and husband, Moe, of Ramseur, son, Henry Allred, and wife, Lynn, of Oxford, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Cross Roads Retirement Community and Community Hospice.
