Ora Kaye Clark McDowell, 76, of Asheboro, died Monday, July 24, 2023 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Friday, July 28, 2023, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Bobby Cooke.

Burial, Sunset Knoll Cemetery, Ramseur.

Kaye was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, formerly employed with Asheboro Elastics and attended Destination Heaven Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Ray McDowell, son, Larry Allen Whitt, and parents, Walter Thomas and Flora Mae Maness Clark Hurley.

Survivors: daughters, Barbara Whitt, Tammy Suits Fortin, both of Asheboro, sons, Stuart Clark, Terry McDowell, both of Asheboro, sisters, Judy Sumner, of Asheboro, Mary Ann Beane, and husband, Harris, of Asheboro, brother, Dewey Lee Hurley, Jr., and wife Kathleen, of Lexington, grandchildren, Tiffany York, Tara McDowell-Tiller, and fur baby, Shadow.

Visitation, 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
