Kathryn Nelson Crotts

Kathryn Marie Nelson Crotts, 72, of Asheboro, passed away peacefully at her home, Friday, July 10, 2020 with complications of a brain tumor.

Private Family Funeral Service, Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

An open graveside service for family and friends will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday at the Sunset Knoll Cemetery, Ramseur.

Kathryn was a native of Rockingham County and a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother and wonderful "Meme" to her grandchildren who were the light of her life. She was a born again Christian and is now enjoying her eternal home in Heaven. Kathryn enjoyed flowers, shopping, and beach trips with her husband and family. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Nelson.

Survivors: husband, Bill Crotts, of the home, daughters, Dawn Marion Williams and husband, Gary, of Asheboro, Angie Marion Davis and husband, Chris, of Seagrove, Mandy Marion Hall and husband, Matt, of Asheboro, mother, Ruth Davis Nelson, of Asheboro, sister, Jean Hardin, of Sunset Beach, NC, brothers, Philip Nelson, of Silk Hope, Paul Nelson, of Danville, VA., David Nelson, of Charlotte, grandchildren, Garret Hall, Madison Williams, Abbie Kinley, Maggie Hall, Greyson Kinley.

The body will lie in state on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home.
