Josephine Allen Moore

Josephine Allen Moore, 93, of Ramseur, went home to be with her Savior on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.

Private Graveside Services, at Holly Spring Friends Meeting, Ramseur.

Josephine was a native of Randolph County and a longtime resident of Ramseur where she married the love of her life, Joe on June 4, 1948. She was a graduate of Ramseur High School and the Baptist Nursing Program where she earned her Registered Nurse Degree. Josephine was formerly employed as a nurse at Randolph Hospital and was a lifetime member of Holly Spring Friends Meeting. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Laura Allen, sisters, Maxine Pell, Ola Kenan, brothers, Elmer Allen, P. T. Allen, Clifton Allen.

She is survived by her husband of almost 72 years, Joseph "Joe" Moore, of the home, daughter, Jill Moore, of Ramseur, son, Jeff Moore, of Florida, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff and caregivers of Universal Health Care and to Theresa Lee, NP for their loving care of Josephine.

Josephine will lie in state at Loflin Funeral Home from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on Friday, May 22, 2020. Condolences may be made online at www.loflinfuneralservice.com.
