Joseph "Joe" Lee Moore

Joseph "Joe" Lee Moore, 95, of Ramseur, went home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.

Private Graveside Services, Saturday, at Holly Spring Friends Meeting, Ramseur with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Officiating, Rev. Todd Brown.

Joe was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County where he met, fell in love with, and married his wife, Josephine on June 4, 1948, a love that would last until her passing seventy two years later. He was a graduate of Liberty High School, a veteran of the United States Army, and was employed in truck and automotive sales and repairs where he was a "grand master salesman" with GMC. Joe was a charter member of Liberty Friends Meeting and a longtime member of Holly Spring Friends Meeting. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josephine Allen Moore, his parents, George Ernest and Anna Mary Cox Moore, sisters, Mabel Bray, and Ann Hinshaw, and brothers, Tom Moore, and Arnold Moore.

Survivors: daughter, Jill Moore, and significant other, Richard Garner, of Ramseur, son, Jeff Moore, of Florida, special family friend, Evan McKinnon, of Ramseur, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff and caregivers of Universal Health Care and Theresa Cranford, NP for their loving care of Joe.

Joe will lie in repose on Friday, November 27, 2020, from noon until 5 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home.
