Johnny Lynn Hughes, 57, of Ramseur, died Thursday, June 3, 2021.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Holly's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Dwayne Lester, Rev. Tim Wolfe.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Lynn was a native of Randolph County, lifelong resident of Ramseur and a 1981 graduate of Eastern Randolph High School. He was retired from Century Link and had become Vice President and part owner of Maid Aid of Asheboro, Inc. Lynn was a member of Holly's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church and was dedicated to taking care of his father. He was a loving husband, father, and "Pop Pop". Lynn never met a stranger and he loved his friends deeply. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Scotton Hughes.

Survivors: wife, Lisa Hughes, of the home, sons, Trent Hughes, and wife, Martha, of Morrisville, Caleb Hughes, and wife, Susanna, of Ramseur, father, Floyd Hughes, of Ramseur, brother, Steven Hughes, of Ramseur, granddaughter, Hattie James Hughes.

The body will lie in repose from noon until 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 5 at the Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur and from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday, June 6 at Holly's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
