John Henry Kivett

John Henry Kivett, 87, of Climax, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Wesley Long Community Hospital in Greensboro.

Funeral Services, 11:30 AM, Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Burial, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Staley.

John was a native of Randolph County and a graduate of Ramseur High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a salesman at Asheboro Concrete for many years. Later in his career, John became the owner and operator of Liberty Building Supply. John was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Nancy, a kind father, a trusted brother, a good neighbor, and a faithful friend. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucy Williams Kivett, his parents, Charlie K. and Eula Mae McMasters Kivett, sister, Kathleen Kivett Foust, brothers, Harold Kivett, Kermit Kivett, and Wayne Kivett.

Survivors: wife, Nancy Allred Kivett, of the home, daughter, Amy Litton, of Virginia Beach, son, Jeff Burwell, and wife, Tina, of Staley, brother, James Arthur Kivett, and wife, Helen, of Liberty, grandchildren, Carter Litton, Brenna Litton, Jenna Burwell, sister-in-law's, Faye Saunders, and husband, Archie, of Pleasant Garden, DeLette Routh, of Asheboro, and numerous nieces and nephews that loved him and will miss his smile.

The body will lie in repose from noon until 5 PM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Loflin Funeral Home
