Joe Dean Cox, 85, of Ramseur, died Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Graveside Services, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Parks Crossroads Christian Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Shaun Greene.

Joe Dean was a Randolph County native and member of the Grace Community Fellowship Baptist Church. He was retired from the Randolph County Sheriff's Department and was a avid farmer. Joe Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Talton Graham and Novia Davis Cox, son, Ken Cox.

Survivors: wife, Louise Steed Cox, of the home, daughter, Marta Trusdell and husband, Jim, of Elizabeth City, son, Robert Cox and wife, Lisa, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Christy Cox Nicholson, and husband, Cody, Wesley Cox, Benjamin Graham Cox, William Hampton Cox, Joseph Talton Cox, Margaret Lesley Graham, and husband, Allen, William Henry Bowers, great-grandchild, Zoie Graham, step-great grandson, Keegan Lee Duke, of the home, step-daughters, Tracey Wilkerson, and husband, Jeff, Tina Luther and husband, John, both of Asheboro, step-son, Lee Duke and wife, Robin, of Asheboro, four step-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren.

The body will lie in repose from noon until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur.
