Joanne Wright Luck

Joanne Wright Luck, 83, of Ramseur, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

A celebration of life will be held, 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Josh Kurtz.

Joanne was a native of Randolph County, a member of Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church, and retired from Randolph County Schools. She was a graduate of Ramseur High School, class of 1954, and a music major from Pfeifer University.  She was very active in her musical talents throughout the community. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, U.S. Army Retired Col. Harold E. Luck, and parents, Talmadge and Rebecca Parks Wright.

Survivors: daughters, Debbie L. Goldsberry, of Fresno, CA, Mary L. Cooper, of Charlotte, Rebecca L. Hinshaw, of Ramseur, Jennifer L. Clark, of Eden, son, Eddie Luck, of Ramseur, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
