James "Cassidy" York

James "Cassidy" York, 42, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at his residence.

Memorial Services, 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Scott Kidd.

Cassidy was a native of Guilford County and a longtime resident of Randolph County. He attended Eastern Randolph High School, Randolph Community College and was a member of Union Grove Christian Church. Cassidy enjoyed sports, hunting, fishing, camping and hiking. He also enjoyed the lake, ocean, bonfires, having family gatherings and telling scary stories. Cassidy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Doss York, maternal grandmother, Nancy Poole Murray, aunt, Louise York, uncles, Lynn York, Craig York and cousin Jeremiah York.

Survivors: daughters, Kelsi White, and husband, Corey, of Lexington, Jayden York, of Franklinville, son, Morgen York, of Pine Haven, parents, Donald and Kathy Poole York, of Asheboro, sisters, Dana York, of Asheboro, Shannon York, of Randleman.
