James Edward "Bill" Kivett, 83, of Staley, died Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Private Graveside Services, Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Staley Cemetery.
Officiating, Rev. Mark Agan, Mr. John Gunter.
Bill was a native of Randolph County and owner/operator of Kivett Grading. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Pugh Kivett, parents, James and Gertrude Riggs Kivett and brother, Jerry Kivett.
Survivors: daughters, Pam Langley, Tonya Kivett, both of Staley, son, Eddie Kivett and wife, Pat, of Staley, sisters, Linda Pierce, of Asheboro, Edna Woods, of Fredricksburg, VA., brother, Richard Kivett, of Staley, grandchildren, Chandra Kivett, Brook Kivett and husband, Josh, Brad Langley and wife, Maggie, Angi Alcutt and husband, Frank, great-granddaughters, Calie McDowell, Mia Langley.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Debbie Snider, Courtney and Daniel Moffitt for their love and care.
The body will lie in state on Friday from noon to 5:00 PM at Loflin Funeral Home.
