James David Spaugh

James David Spaugh, 65, of Ramseur went home to be with his Savior on Monday, June 26, 2023.

Memorial Services, 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Central Carolina Community Church, Asheboro. The family will receive friends following the service.

James was a native of Guilford County and a longtime resident of Asheboro. He was formerly employed with Star Electric and attended Central Carolina Community Church in Asheboro. James was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a very loving and compassionate man who always worked to help people that were going through difficult trials. James enjoyed fishing, Nascar racing, and taking long rides on his Harley. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
 James was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Frances Bolton Spaugh.

Survivors: wife, Tammy Spaugh, of the residence, daughters, Jackie DeSilva (Aaron), of Medford, OR, Ashley Cranford (Jonathan), of Seagrove, sons, Johnnie Huggins (Sandy), of Asheboro, Adam Huggins (Tonda), of Holly Spring, NC, Joshua Soto (Emily), of Jacksonville, NC, Dustin Soto (Ashley), of Thomasville, sisters, Linda Jenkins, of Lewisville, NC, Shirley Rosen (Butch), of Charlotte, Kathy Seabolt (Garland), of Greensboro, brother, Art Spaugh (Susan), of Kingsport, TN, grandchildren, Dakota, Daytona, Gage, Dynasty, Tate, Alyssa, Alexa, Harmony, Dylan, Brennan, Julianna, Christian, Elizabeth, Naiya, Olivia, Zoe, Logan, and Nevaeh.
