James Goley Parrish, 86, of Franklinville, died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Harmony Baptist Church, Ramseur.
Officiating, Rev. Jeffrey Wright.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
James was a native of Davidson County and a long time resident of Randolph County. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. James loved gardening, his Allis-Chalmers tractors and telling childhood memories. Most importantly he loved each of his family members dearly. James was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Maness Parrish, sons, James Colon Parrish, Sr., Donald Ray Parrish, parents, James Currie and Martha Smith Parrish, brother Brawley Parrish, and daughter-in-law, Billie Parrish.
Survivors: daughter, Patricia Parrish Robbins and husband, Rodney, of Franklinville, son, Howard Routh Parrish, of Pleasant Garden, brothers, Wiley Parrish, of Asheboro, David Parrish, of Randleman, twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Teresa Parrish, of Franklinville, his favorite dog, "Brownie".
The body will lie in repose on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from noon until 5:00 PM at Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur and the family will receive friends at the Parrish residence, 2285 NC Hwy. 22 North, Franklinville from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Visitation, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Thursday, Harmony Baptist Church, Ramseur.
